  • You're UTAU Camila has inspired me to make my UTAU sing in my native tongue. Spanish and English

  • i have the same song on my crappy keyboard hahaha....grew up with it since i was about 9

  • Her English is absolutely beautiful!

Pardon me for asking, but does she have a bit of a Spanish accent?

  • @Gordygoo12 my first language is Spanish so I wouldn't be surprised that she sounds like she has an accent. My English when I'm speaking I consider it to be pretty good so I've improved her English since this video, however there are simply some sounds I can't record because of my native tongue so the accent will always be there though I don't mind :P

  • You should make her sing dreams dreams from NiGHTS

  • I love your UTAU! :3

Oh, I also have the same keyboard.LOL

  • It sounds like an english vocaloid I swear..

  • Her English is to die for.

  • oh thx xD and this is one of her first videos so I've made her sing English with her updated voicebank :)

  • Camila is gorgeous! Her hair is pretty much like mine. I'd seriously consider cosplaying her, but I already have a Miku costume. :p

  • hehe thanks. Well just cosplay as Miku but if you ever do cosplay as Camila I'd love to see :)

  • wow this is really good!! ^^

  • Qué bien canta inglés O.O

  • Camila is actually better than all the English VOCALOIDs before Sonika

  • o_o !!!! true

  • 0______0

    NICE!!!!

  • wow!

  • That was amazing 0_o

  • was your voice bank like this ing, ung ang, ong.

iwhat i mean is did you do single syllables like these?

  • no. For the word amazing she actually says a/mei/si/n those are the syllables I recorded. You can download her voicebank (the link is in my channel) if you want to see how I recorded the syllables.

  • oh ...wow.... i think these to your voice bank will help you a bit..... nga, ngi, ngu, nge, ngo. if she were to pronounce 'singing' she won't pronounce it sing-ging instead si-nging

  • it's not so easy since having consonants at the end tend to be lost when making the songs. She does have the 'g' and 'n' sounds alone and usually people dont pronounce the word singing with the last g (in a song) they just go singin' she would pronounce it as si/n/gi/n. It's all a matter of how you place the notes and string them together.

  • The beginning was good; it's tough to make UTAUs sing good in English if they're made for Japanese. As the song progressed, though, I just heard gibberish and some words. Good job overall. 5/5.

  • I understand what you mean xD usually I attribute that to the fact that most people already know the beginning of the song so they "think" they understand her well at the beginning lol. She was made to be able to sing in English though (with a lot of tweaking), just not separate words per se as that would take forever and be really hard.

  • I like how your UTAUloid can actually pronounce the English words. That is...amazing. And the voice is really smooth! You did a really good job. ^_^

  • can I have the ust?

  • since I made this one sure pm me ur email

  • She sounds a lot like a real English Vocaloid :3

  • thank you xD I think that was only possible for this song LOL

  • Question: did you record Japanese-like syllables or actual words? I'm considering to make my Utau bilingual so she can sing English too (might even add Dutch for fun), but I'm not sure how to do it.

  • recording words isnt very helpful as you will never have a complete bank so I recorded Japanese syllables and added extra syllables like "grei" and an "s" to make the word "grace". Basically I recorded the sound and saved it in a way that I would remember with the spanish(or japanese) pronounciation instead of the phonetic alphabet. And Camila can pronounce three different types of "r" xD

  • oh and btw ocasionally I might have to add another syllable for other songs.

  • That's more or less what I figured myself. The only problem I see with this is that I'll have to record a lot and might never really be done.

  • Actually I don't even have 400 files recorded yet xD but I sometimes do add one or two files for new songs so yeah you might never really be completely done but you can at least finish the japanese syllables first

  • Whooooooa. 0_0 Sounds niiiiiice. <3

  • juste amazing XD good job!

  • did you create her?.

  • yes I did :) that is my voice I used for her and I made up the design (If she looks like anyone else which I dunno who, it's strictly coincidential)

  • Excelente *3*!

  • Awesome. I'm actually working on an Amazing Grace for Journey right now, but it's a long version.

This was really pretty. Thanks for sharing!

  • I did the short version because for the bacground music I used my keyboard which comes with the music but its a short version

  • She is certainly singing English, not Engrish nor Spanglish.

It is something I cannot hear from Japanese UTAU voice banks!

    ...and she looks very cute.

  • thank you! I'm working hard on making the voice bank be able to sing in all three languages xD although her Japanese might not be the best considering I don't know how to speak it lol

  • WOW.

    Esta... Geniaaaal!! *3*

    Canta genial el ingles!

  • eso era lo q trate de hacer xD

  • She sounds great!

And the English was terrific! I mean, I could pretty much understand everything!

  • Thank you ^^ I'm really workingn to make her be able to sing 3 languages :P

  • :)

Well, keep at it then! It's sounding great!

  • thank you ^^ soon I'll upload a video with her first song in Spanish xD

  • This is still the most amazing UTAU song i've ever heard. Very beautiful picture.

  • lol im sure you've heard better xD but thank you!

  • lol good morning I'm working on my UTAU right now. ^^
