And two, we will not live in a police state to stop 911s. to quote another great founding father "Give me Liberty or give me death". Most Americans rather die in a 911 attack than be slaves to an all powerful tyrannical government who takes all out freedoms to "protect us".

@jaeger402, actually you are dead wrong. In America the airlines are not allowed to violate our Constitutional rights no matter what their tickets say in the fine print. And in the US the airlines are forced to use the TSA against their wills, which is a government agency, and government agencies never have the right to violate our Constitutional Civil rights. Franklin's quote isn't exempted to stop 2nd or 1st 911s.

And this is how they stopped the second 9/11 from happening. If you haven't heard, in 2006 they were planing on taking down 10 planes with liquid explosives. @jaeger402 No we don't understand. We in America believe in liberty and privacy. Our 5th and 4th Amendments protect against this kind of intrusion into our privacy. One of our founding Father Ben Franklin said "They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Europe and the rest of the world does not seem to understand liberty and the US Government does not understand it any more.

@kirbyharris 99% of the time when you buy a ticket, you do it online. When doing so you check a little box and agreeing on the terms of purchase. Therefore you amongs other things agree to the airport security rules. No one is forcing you to fly. The solution is simple, if you do not want to be touched or having your personal space invaded, take the bus, train, boat or car. Im all for a better solution but right now im following the rules and standards mostly set by ICAO.

I myself do the same work (and have been for some years now) on an international airport in a country in Europe. I can understand why some of you get uppset over this but let me tell you why we do it. It is known world wide that smugglers hide drugs and other stuff on children because they think that the security wont check them, and what would stop "terrorists" from hiding plastic explosives on a child?

We dont like to do it but we do it for your and everyones elses safety. Hope you understand.
