Thanks for the clarification on that. I should have noticed myself by looking at the front suspension.

(For those who don't know, Formula Vees are based on classic air-cooled VW air-cooled components. I think the front suspension even has to be pre-ball-joint era, so this is old stuff. You can still see many classic races today featuring Formula Vees.)
