This must be the only time I've seen 5 oboe's playing in tune.. I'm sure any oboist would agree with me that 2 or more oboes playing in unison well isn't the easiest thing when compared to say 2 flutes or clarinets playing in unison.
This sounds great. What would make it even more brilliant would be to have a lovely Cor Anglais playing too!
wow. C: you guys are all in relatively in tune with each other O.o amazing. i've never seen pure 5 oboes playing with each other that didn't sound horrible :)
Phenomenal! I'm just learning to play the oboe and I hope I'll be able to play like that in the future! *One of my all time favourites if not my favourite
I'm gonna learn the oboe and it would be good if one of you could post a tutorial video on how to form the embecure [spelt wrong] and how to keep it in tune.
@cokeisgood111 Actually, I just want to defend that person. You see, beginner plastic oboes are much harder to play because they SUCK. You have to try really hard to produce a nice tone on a beginner oboe. On a wooden one, the tone comes out more easily. Just because it has more keys doesn't necessarily mean it's harder.
Muy bueno, felicidades.

@potatoesandmangos
The oboe is easy???? The oboe is harder than most instruments... I know people who play several instruments and say this.
What other instruments you play?

obviously, you're playing the Yamaha plastic one
it's no where near as difficult as the REAL wooden ones
