That is SO on the easy combat setting, those 323's are going down with a few hits. In proper setting they take hundreds of hits to get a wing to break off or something like it, i know as thats the setting I play on.

@MrGamigon It's an AI plane in the vanilla game, but there are mods to fly them. Google Il-2 Sturmovik 1946 mod and the first link that's from Fileplanet i believe will be a working mod where you can fly all the planes.

ME-323s were only really flown in great quantity in Italy in 1943, whereas Hawker Typhoons (or Tempests, I can't really tell) didn't come into prevailence until 1944

As for me323, the inside most were hollow to pour the delivery of supplies in large quantities because I was main. When it was found by an enemy, it was a perfect mark. However, I met when there was little damage because I seemed to be hollow

The RAF Typhoon had rockets near the end of the war. They used to attack large targets on the ground in France such as locomotives and buildings. They were not very accurate hence the large targets. Air to air missiles came well after the war

I have a real problem with this video. I am ASSuming it is WWII. The problem I have is at about 1:32 or so I saw what I ASSumed to be rockets being fired. Rocket being fired from a plain was a loooong way off at that point. I have no right to say how you people play your games nor should I. Rockets??

In WWII there were no rockets on planes. Like I said it is your game but it is not historically correct. Why not cut to the chase and nuke Berlin in 1942 and be done with it. You are screwing up the historical time line. I could be wrong and I will check this out. The only rockets I knew of was the V2 or buzz bomb.

Well your wrong, Many aircraft carrier rockets, The hawker Tempest and Typhoon did, so the the wild and hellcats, and the F4U corsairs, also Il-2 carried rockets. Go onto Wikipedia and research their example payloads for a aircraft.

rockets were used on Fighters and attack planes during WW2 they used HVARs (high velocity aircraft rocket)

These are British A2G rockets, I used them against the bombers cause it would be easy kills and to save ammo. Also on the external views you should be able to clearly see the Tempest carrying the rockets.

It was not SO easy to get these transporters down.

1. They flew very deep, for not to be an easy target for fighters. The fighters than had problems to get a good shootong position.

2. They were armed with lots of MG and mashine canons to defned themselves. Sometimes ome were used without carriage, but as real "gun boats" to protect the others of these very slow transporters.

But i recommend practicing alot doing landings on carriers, and normal ground.
