  • Now this is bel canto singing. He still pushes his high notes more than he needs to, but for the most part, the relaxed, unforced singing is just right . I wish he would try the Rachmaninoff songbook. Does anyone know if he has ?

  • Fuera del estilo. Mucho debido a que no sabe mantener arriba toda la frase. Hace un legato como a trompicones, en donde en la mayor parte de la frase la emisión está decaída. Creo que irá a peor (si no se diera el caso extraño de que se replanteara su técnica. Quizá para avanzar sobre ese problema podría estudiar las grabaciones de Bergonzi, que suena como un órgano, sosteniendo de principio a fin la frase y, además -como de paso- diciendo la letra).

  • absolutely fantastic. i hate that in every recording of JDF singing this his A at the end is flat. but he is kneeling down and its quite pianissimo, so understandable.
