John McCain is the poster child of the part of the American establishment that has failed the country for the past 30 years. A failed senator who's mistaken the white house for a retirement home.

John McCain is a nice enough guy. We don't need to attack him. There's no way he can win the election.

Don't buy into the media hype. The economy is tanked, there is an unpopular war, Americans are sick of being lied to... There's no way Republicans can win. It's probably best to just ignore them and put your energy into getting some real change in this Country.

The problem, though, is that many Americans DO buy the media hype that McCain is a "moderate" or "centrist" when he's actually the most hawkish of all the Republican candidates. In the primaries that he's won, the prime reason is because he carried a lot of "independent" voters WHO ARE AGAINST THE WAR! THAT'S why a McCain candidacy would be bad for Democrats: there are a lot of "independents" who will stupidly vote for McCain thinking he's a "moderate Republican."
