Holy sweet baby jesus. This man is so informative, but it's really starting to peeve my recycling obsession. It's beginning to become painful to listen to all the paper ripping. Ugh.
this is so cool..the pictures used strongly resemble the same pictures used in my handouts from class. Definately allowed me to better understand what im actually looking at here!
@ThinkwellVids is there one video before this?.. explaining what cells are.. not the intro.. but doing into details on cell structure... it seems when he starts this one.. that i should have watched one before...
@lushhmushh Yes there is. I'd paste the URL in but YouTube won't let me. It's entitled Plant and Animal Cell Overview. It showed up in the suggestions on the left side of the page for me, so check there and if not search for the title.
@Miinttt The reason they use the paper is due to how the videos are shot. The professors like being able to work in front of them like this and there is less of a chance of a light causing a flare on the paper than there would be on a shiny dry erase board. So it's easier for you to see what they are doing.
@MegaRangers2009 We have a contract with a recycle company that picks up our paper regularly. Everyone here is really into recycling and we have bins to put paper in and we even recycle our aluminum and plastic.
Sometimes the office dogs eat paper if left at their level (newbie mistake), but that's kind of recycling right!? :)
All your videos are excellent! Your voice and the way you teach just allows me to understand that much better as weird as that sounds. AP Biology was pretty rough, but this should help on the dreaded midterm coming up!
PS. You should really invest in a large white board instead of wasting all the paper haha XD
@Cheriffical We at Thinkwell are really big on recycling. I can tell you we have bins for paper, plastic and aluminum and they are constantly being used.

print out diagrams on paper and use a dry erase board for labeling. i think it'd be better. (and it might save you on money =])
+recycling still uses energy and resources, but it is better than nothing

dry erase board, awesome teacher though! wish you were my biology teacher
ChelseaEva 1 year ago
@ChelseaEva The problem with a dry erase board is you can't print these awesome diagrams and drawings on them. We recycle all the paper he used.
He can be your biology teacher, just check out our online biology course.
