We're playing this in symphonic winds and it is one of my favorite American songs...i never really cared much for cowboys and indians until i heard the oboe/flute solo :)

The score is amazing! And it is a shame that more composers don't write like this. but John Williams has a similar majestic/heavy on french horn style.
