they changed the ending to get Jody Foster to rephrase her role as Clarisse because she did not like how the character developed and the eating of the brain was to dark for her and she did not want to be portrayed that way ...that was the gossip at least but even after they changed the ending which PISSED off Thomas Harris.she still did not take the part so it must be some other reason.which only she knows.....

I still like the whole Hannibal/Clarice thing, but never should it be a part of canon, but it is and I don't accept it. It's always been a fan thing for me. Clarice is strong in her sense of right and wrong and knows Dr. Lecter for what he is and would NEVER be with him. Their relationship is best left at 'professional, respectful, friendly, with just a hint of an underlying attraction..'

You should so totally take the last scene from "meet joe black" when Anthony is dancing with his 'daughter' , and not show her face so it shows them dancing together. Suggesting Clarice and him =)

I liked him in Red Dragon, and Silence of the Lambs, but not Hannibal or Hannibal Rising.
And I actually prefer Hopkins's portrayal of Lecter on screen than in the books. Brian Cox and Guspard Ulliel did OK, but Hopkins was the best ;)
