Let me preface my comment with a disclaimer: I'm a brit, I've only ever shot a Glock on a holiday in Vegas and emptied 2 mags, and that was it.

With the replacement baseplate sticking out of the top of the the jeans, is there no way to add a raised ridge to the bottom, to give you more grip when pulling the clip out of your pants? A second ridge wouldn't inhibit the butt being 'slammed' into the gun but if it was above the 'hang over' it would help you to pull it out.

they could make some with longer clips for when people use subcoms with full sizes mags there's a good enough amount of space to be convenient and not obstruct your combat grip

Why not just make a clip that goes around the magazine instead of changing the base-plate?

With the correct tension you would be able to leave the clip on your pocket but remove the magazine with no added attachments to the proprietary parts of the weapon. As long as the clip does not fully surround the magazine you should be fine.

You can have a full pocket clip and choose the depth of the magazine in your pocket.

why dont just change the clip from the right ove to the left? if you do you would not have to same prob or like when you buy em you can order one for left handers and one for right handers? I think that would make it better, cuz then the problem of it not going in the whole way would not be a problem, hehe well.. thats just my though but yeah :)

Put the clip on the other side of the mag. You can extend it and have no hand issues that way.

If you extend the pocket clip too far, you'll be unable to insert the magazine into the pistol (without modifications to the Glock itself). Other wise, it was a pretty good video as usual.

yeah, but if you have a longer clip on it then you have to align the clip with the rim of the magazine well PERFECTLY in order to load it without it catching on the grip

yeah, a 1/2 inch clip, but w/ the clip on your choice of left or right side, so the clip would be on the side of the handle not covered by your hand.

the only problem with that is changing it to the other side doesnt allow for a righty shooter to have the magazine on the weak side facing the right way...we have to orient the mag so that when we grab it we dont have to turn it around to insert it into the gun...thats the only problem with that...

I don't see that as a problem. If you grasp the magazine with the thumb on the back side and the index or middle finger on the front side, the orientation will be right for insertion into the gun.

i think he should make it like the +2 baseplates and then you could extend the clip so it wouldn't interfere with your hands. and for the new york state residents and people with similar laws, he could still make it look like the +2 baseplate but have some sort of part inside to keep the magazine from holding any more rounds. just my 2 cents. great review and awesome product with good potential.

u should do a review of gerber gator 2 it looks like a nice knife / the mrs looks like a good design looks like if u trim off some of the plastic it would fit to jeans also

The clip should be flexible so it would fit to basically all pants. If you just extend the clip it would be loose on thinner pockets.

you could use a clip off of a knife, sort of like the one in caseph's vid where it goes inwards. that would help it go under your hand so that it wnt matter.

Maybe if an extended clip was available on the opposite side that it is now? I don't have a gun nor have I ever shot so I'm just going by visual. So the magazine clip would be on the inside of the gun if held right handed.

maybe he should try to make a longer clip on the extended base plate instead of the normal plate. That way it wouldnt get in the way as much but you would have to carry a longer mag.

it'd be nice if the clip was designed to sit so flush against the magazine wall (or possible dremel a portion of the magazine wall so it was perfectly flush. that way the pocket clip could be inserted into the receiver of the pistol. That way the pocket clip could be made longer, because it'd just just pinch back to being flush after it was removed from the pocket.

if the clip was on the thumb side then it could be extended without getting in the way of the reload....but then it would be a problem depending on whether you are right or left handed so maybe it should be made for righties or lefties so the clip will be on the thumb side of the firearm...but thats just my two cents

hey jeff, i got a cool video idea for you, shoot into the pond with all your different guns, maybe like 2-3 shots, and instead of doing all your guys on one day, maybe do like a few guns one time ur at the range, then next time bring a few other guns, and video tape them all, and then make a compilation of all the guns into one video

I carry an extra mag with the MRS on in my weak side pocket. I also carry a money clip, cell phone, challenge coin, small flashlight and a weather proof light in the same pocket. I have no problems getting things from the pocket.

I had a similar idea and was scrolling to see if anyone else had posted it yet. Sounds like the perfect solution to me. Seems like a step back if you need to worry about a clip interfering with your grip.

well the clip is on that side for a reason, for righty shooters to use in their left pocket, its in that place so you cna do an easy reload, if it were on the back you woudl have to turn the magazine around after you grabbed it.,..

if you put the clip on the left side of the mag you will be able to make it longer and it would not interfere with your grip on your strong hand. then your support hand will just lay over it. it seems it'll work better.
