And why do I have some auto-cannon when I'm in 3rd person but then it's gone in first person/cockpit view? Garbage. and with two stick and triggers why not use a realistic control layout? @GangsterHutterite iv'e just downloaded the demo, playd it (still am), and i think its the most realistic flying game i have ever playd.. its freaking awesome, so damn nice graphix, its got it all!! its rly difficult flying and hunting enemies at first, but you will get a hang of it eventually, tahts what makes it so damn effective

Meah... I will give it a shot, but.... If you are going to make a game that is realistic, then go for it 100%. We don't have air to air missiles, and we don't use ladders to get into the Apache. Just sayin...

yes apache do have 4 stingers (longbows apaches only) but in game , we can't use them: the 4 launch tubes are here , but if you look well they are empty! just here for ornamentation... :-/

also , buzzerfly , you forgot the 3 worst points: we have infinite ammo , have the helo ridiculously resistant to fire and the ennemy IA as almost inexistant... thats really another arcade game on a simulation costume like IL-2 birds of prey...

That and the graphics remind me of HAWX, not realy likeing that but like i said once they release it and start to get fan feed back changes will be made, patches built, level's added, and if we are lucky they might even add a few more birds to the mix.Mi-24, Ka-50, AH-1Z, .

As long as it has passable graphics I think we'll be ok. If not I'll still play it and just hope they have updates in line on down the road =)

Ya know seeing how there are NO helicopter games out there for any console as of late this is a shot in the dark for the makers of this . And seeing how it's realy the first of it's kind i say we ought to give it a real chance. Even if it isn't great they can alway's improve it down the road. As for me I'm kinda looking forward to it. Running around with a sniper rifle or flying at mach 2 all the time is getting a little old. Let's give it a shot !

The consultant is Ed Macy a retired Apache pilot and instructor now designs the Boeing simulator for Apache students ..this game is gonna kick ass for sure!!
