  • beautiful piece!

  • I started to paint on Tshirts ( cotton)

What is the difference between Pebeo seta colour vs setasilk?

  • @fragmaka

I asked exactly that question of Dharmatrading.

Setasilk is a silk paint that is very similar to Dye-na-flo. It is liquid, flowing, transparent and looks much like a dye, even though it is an iron set silk paint.

Setacolor is a much thicker paint. It is much more like a thicker version of a fabric paint.

Setacolor transparent is roughly similar to Jacquard Textile Color which is transparent to semi-translucent.

Setacolor opaque is more similar to Neopaque.

    ok that is helpful?

  • Your work is beautiful. Which type of silk do you suggest for scarves?

  • we did this! It really was as easy as she showed! The paints really behave themselves staying inside the gutta and then when you overlap them they create beautiful merged vignettes. Pebeo silk painting is fabulous!

  • This is fantastic

  • Beautiful work!!!! Just amazing...... I am going to order Pebeo Setasilk paints for my batik project. Have never used these paints before, but have read a lot of good reviews about them.
