What a rotten asshole Jesus would have been. Cure the one guy who happens to fall into the pool first and leave the rest of the wretches to wallow in misery. Indeed, if he could cure these illnesses, why not cure everyone instead of curing a few and sending peasants off with stories to tell to their fellow peasants? Why go about doing the miracle thing in the first place. Why not just change everyones heart and mind once and for all time? If he was god, he could do it. He prefers inefficiency.
From everything I can gather, if Jesus was a real man and not a historical amalgamation, he was a compelling teacher, good orator, and a shamanic medicine man. I could swallow that. I don't buy the magic son of god.
I can change water into wine with a handful of ground up amanita muscaria mushroom. It's effects in small doses are very similar to alcohol and it is widely believed to be the "soma" of the rig veda. It's the world's oldest entheogenic drug and was common in trade. It still is in some places.

apparently there were lots of these healers in Judea at this time. I think i'll do a video about Jesus and the types of healings/miracles he did.
