Depends on where you are. I'm in the US but I've got relatives up in P.E.I. and I can vouch that they have an accent. Every region I've been to seems to have at least a slightly different accent (Ottawa, PEI, British Colombia, etc.).

The one thing that's consistent? Eh! I don't notice it at first, but when I do, I realize that it's more frequent than I thought. Then I return to the States saying, eh? more than usual without realizing it.

Oh, I get it, I live near the border too, so everyone who lives near the border speaks the same way. And the each different provinces everyone speak differently with a different accent. So if we hear people from where we live we don't hear an accent, and if we hear people from other provinces and territories we think they have an accent.
