Viewing this video has made me very, very happy for at 0.42 i can see the San Fernando Boys' R.C. school which I attended and Miss Lobin and Miss Lessey selling their snacks across the road. My sons were students in the new school which replaced this building so they would now see what the original "Boy School" looked like. Harris Promenade was our play ground and lots of soccer matches were played there with "Rounders" ball.Our pride, "Presentation College " stands tall over SanDo. Thanks.

certainly reminds me of my school days in Siparia and walking on the gas and oil lines in Paolo Seco long ago. The open and carefree manner of life back then was truely wonderful days. I only wish that my children could have experienced this. Today we have to worry about bandits....being safe takes all the joy out of being a child...sad. Wonderful video Sooty1312 and Oldtimecalypso

This like all your other videos about Trinidad, reminds me of so many things. My primary school uniform in the 60s was so similar: necktie and all. I don't think the tie is part of any primary school uniform that I know. My uncle owned an Open Capitan (Kapitan) like the one in this video. My eldest brother attended Presentation College and it's still one of the most prestigious school in Trinidad. The facade of the school is still the same up to today.

Love it! Very nostalgic. What a great experience for "ex-pats" living in Trinidad during those years. My brother also attended Presentation College San Fernando. Your music is fantastic, great collection.
