@ryan00dddddddd Very nice Mercedes to own...kind of rare & will be expensive to service in the long run. Your four point GPA doesn't seem to show as your grammar & spelling is terrible. Look over your text & correct your errors please! The very fact of your bad spelling & grammar tends to make others believe that you are not who you say you are. The mis-spelled "collage"....several times in your text is rather ironic...don't you think?
This car (model 1996) - I painted in 1986 in the town of Zarechny - in Russia, the car was painted a graphic pencil on the pages of paper from a school notebook, side view - the driver's side, scale 1: 35, Top View - Front hood, headlights, radiator. Rear view - the original form of the lamps - as well thought out and drawn me .. A - class was drawn at the same time, in profile, the driver's side, but the headlights - it's not my idea!
My wife owns the 200 SLK supercharged, which is not such a beast like the AMG 32. Nice toy though, in this video the little roadster really looks delicious.
@lhmcfield i own a AMG 32 and boy. it is nice. im 16, the car was passed down to me. but there is a small problem with the hard top. if ur car is left in the heat too much hydraulic fuel will leak onto the headliner and stretch out the fabric.
@tonyinfinity im lucky enough to have earned the car with my 4.0 in highschool my weekly community service and iive been working 40 hours a week minimum wage for my neighbor since i was 13. i work harder than any other youth around. so dont be too quick to judge might i add that my 4.0 consists mainly of AP courses which earn me collage credit. im going to be a junior in highschool and i already have enough collage credits to be a sophmore in collage.
@ryanw00dddddddd What the hell does that have to do with anything?! There are plenty of kids getting straight A's that aren't driving a Mercedes. Some of them are lucky to have a good Steak on the table for dinner. So if you want to pat yourself on the back, and tell me about all your achievements, don't bother. Good for you Mr. Silver Spoon. My statement still stands by the way!
@tonyinfinity silver spoon? no i earn all of my money, and my parents came from the poorest of the poor. but now my dad Warren T Wood is one of the head scientist working on the oil spill in the gulf. look him up. and my mom is a higschool redesign coordinator for the state of louisiana look her up too Caroline J Wood.
@ryanw00dddddddd I had the same hydraulic problem with my SLK. The sealing ring in the hydraulic piston that locks the roof mechanism was deformed and this resulted to a ruined roof fabric as well as a hydraulic oil soaked liner behind the fabric. The piston was replaced (including the hoses stretching back to the hydraulic pump). I didn't want to pay for a new fabric though.
at a mercedes dealership? i'd say 500-800€ for the small checkups and up to 1500/2000€ for the bigger/biggest ones (breaks (complete), steering (complete), transmission oil, ...), depending on what was done on the previous check and how the car was treated in between.
if you go for a cheaper mechanic, you get it done for around a third or at least a half.
If it hasn't been maintained (properly) though, of course, you can get the price up to almost the value of the car itself.

Great machinery in a pretty smart bodyshell..
..if just had it been fitted with an adequate gearbox....
Fine posting however.
