The "Shield of Freedom" commercials still gives this Coastie Vet goosebumps. This new commerical is lame. The USCG needs to hire the ad firm that the Marines use!

This is the way I see things (no disrespect at all to any service members or vets):
Army and Marines are geared specifically towards physically motivated individuals.
Air Force is gear specifically towards academically motivated individuals.
Elements of the Navy are geared specifically towards physically motivated people, and other elements are geared only towards academics.
The Coast Guard wants people who are both academically and physically motivated.
