20 pip stop/limit will likely reduce w/l ratio because the extra room of ST offers very few extra positive trades but the +20 requirement will turn many more winners in to losers
Yes, sound advice, as many traders will try to fade the high/low but often stop triggering will have the opposite effect, hence one often seen a massive rush on the break. I would watch out for trend lines, Pivots and Fibs to try and reduce the risk.
Have you considered 20 pip stop/limit or using the recent retracement as your stop distance to calculate your 1:1 target? Hope you get better soon! -Andrew
