yeah same here, 74 radios XTS3000/5000's. thats ridiculous. I would settle for one, even if it wasnt working its a $1200 radio brand new. I bet the coppers are the ones pinching them and saying they lost them in a scuffle or on duty somehow

Could be a problem that a lot of agencies are doing - using their old VHF towers for the digital antennas. Digital doesn't go that far, and you cannot pick it up at the disance you could VHF. The packet loss in the digital is too great to decode properly
