I sure like a foot pedal a lot better than tieing up one of my hands. Otherwise a great set up.

If you hold the billet in the forge layer edges up, the flux will get in between the steel bars and work better.

You can turn the billet when it's in the forge to be sure the flux has covered all surfaces inside.

I flux over a pot so I can reuse it and it doesn't steal the heat from the billet like that anvil just did.

that one nice press I'm gonna get a Uncle Als press next month I was looking at your but the price of Uncle als is more to my liking

and i like the way the hoses are covered on the U-Als but it looks like your doing what I want to do make steel without hurting my arms with all that pounding
