not to take away from people like OCC or west coast but.... they could all spend a little time witht this man and learn a thing or two, I am good but my god.... this man is my hero
bare bones bike a bobber, built for speed, thats a beautiful bike, i enjoyed seeing it build by a master of his craft, and the love that went into it...!
INCREDIBLE.... See a lot of the young generation probably call these guys old, worn out, worthless, grandpa.... The proof is in these pictures and that bike.... This man is a living encyclopedia and deserves the complete respect that comes with his knowledge and skill. This skill is not learned from books. It is from being in the shop DOING it and scrapping lots of metal along the way. In aviation, I have met old timers that say, "If you don't make mistakes, you aren't learning anything."
That level of skill in metal working is what helped the USA win the 2nd world war. Now young people do not even know how to put air in there bicycle tires. The people with teas skills are now in poverty as paper pushers make the money. TV has turned America into couch potatoes.
Most of our farmers are in there 80's. We are in big trouble and this video shows the problem in America.
@StigmataBOB1 America only helped win the Second World War, along with Britain Russia, Australia New Zealand, The equipment was not all American neither.
@StigmataBOB1 I have to agree with you on this point, Now with CNC machines the true art of machining will be lost except for the few who choose to learn set-up and how to run conventional mills and lathes but they're becoming few and far between.
sir, i wish i could apprentice in your shop with you. i have 2 old southbend lathes i restored. also restored a 650 triumph and a twin Mc Culloch go kart. anyway sir sure do admire your diverse talents. absolutely beautiful motorcycle.god bless.
Rudy... thank you very much. My heart is now full and I have tears in my eyes. I love to see a true master doing what he does best. I love motorbikes too but only the real ones.
I absolutely agree! I just emailed to find out. I'm 50 years old and wish I had a father like him I would have been out in his shop everyday learning. I restore American muscle cars as a hobby and wish I had more skills like this man. A true genius.
