Fucking hell, they just left you and you were ripping! I had an experience like this in Whistler. Followed Chris Kovarik and i thought i rode really well but he was out of sight within seconds. Pros are just so fast and they arent even trying that hard on these runs.
Awesome man, I saw this on Pinkbike. I love the Athertons. You guys were riding really well, and they still beat you down. Really lets you see how fast the pros are. Wish I lived out that way to ride there too, but I'm on the east coast.
@Zakattack12343 Ha, yeah, if you run into them again be sure to post! Are you guys ever in danger of running into hikers coming up the trail? Or do most people know that bikers use them?
@skybo053 kinda, people know that the trails for bikers only but some are still dumb enough to walk up an down it. pretty dumb idea considering how steep it is
@SouthOCMtbRider they come to laguna every winter to train cause the weather in wales sucks during this time of year. theyre supposed to be here till april or may so you may be seeing more of them soon!!
