when i started i got treated like crap by all the others. one even said get lost and work somewhere else. however, 2nd month, top sales. now smoothed out as they all know im not going to leave. less salespeople means more opps for each so the culture is to discourage the new guy.
This is obviously a very exaggerated look at a salesperson's first day, but it was meant to demonstrate most dealerships' lack of organized orientation programs. Some, though, think it is right on the mark.
Nonetheless, enjoy your first day on the job. This industry is a blast with more potential than any other industry out there.
