APES ARE QUITE COMFORTABLE IN HOW THEY WALK, just as humans are quite comfortable in how they walk. Even a slight change in the position of a muscle or bone, for either, would be excruciatingly painful and would not be an advantage for survival. ALL REAL EVOLUTION ( i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.) in nature is the expression, over time, of already existing genes. Evolution is possible only if there’s information (genes) directing it. Only variations of already existing genes are possible, which means only limited evolution and adaptations are possible. However, it's not simple logic to use science to 'prove' a belief because at any point when the evidence doesn't support your belief you can just say, "God (or whatever) made it that way". It's called an un-falsifiable claim, and is therefore not science and science cannot be used to support (or deny) that claim. In order for something to be scientific it needs to be able to be proven wrong.

Zen, Taoism etc, are all profound and deep philosophies that should never be parred off into the "religion" bin by atheists. In a nutshell: that your god exists, that he also is the creator of the universe and humanity (and not merely an observer), that he said the things you say he did, and how you purport to know that. If you want me, and society in general, to abide to the principles you set forward -- make laws and public policies and morals -- then you owe it to us to establish the basis for that.

@PatchesRips In a Nutshell, I dont owe you anything. You owe yourself to search it out more so then 6 long long blistery months in the convent. Which I highly doubt you dedicated that 6 months. It was more like 6 months trying to disprove it all the while giving a little heed in case it is true. Due dilligence is over and now you can go about being whatever it is you want to be.
