I would just say use OpenOffice, It's free and open source, and you don't need a net connection, once it's downloaded and you can save it as a PowerPoint File if you need too. I personally like my free installed apps vs. web 2.0 apps that can go crazy on you if you suddenly loose your net connection or don't have a fast enough one.
