  • This is the most awesome stuff i've ever seen on youtube! Well now I know what i'm gonna be :D

  • @xMikuFox Gracias Por Tu Comentario Yo Tambien Uso Pasta DAS Pero Como Soy Autodidacta En El Modelismo Pues Creo Que Aun Que Comprara Esa Sustancia Creo Que Desperdiciaria Litros Y Litros Jejejeje Supongo Que Antes De Epezar Con Un Material Nuevo Debo Al Menos Perfeccionar Mi Tecnica En DAS

  • Respectfully I want to ask: Which is the material used to "cover" or "cure" (I don't know the right word) the broken and re-united parts? And... How is it prerpared?

  • @Abismabagrandatimaba I heard it someone say its the same material as the rest of the figurine something called polyputty or polyester putty.

  • Too bad 'some people' miss the point- its the creative process!!! figure concept from original artist/2 dimension to 3 dimension then to engineering for production, sales, marketing not just big boobs (although they are kinda nice) :):):) There are kits of malle figures too (but sales suck) and more "R" rated kits but sales suck for them as well!!!

  • He should fold in the hardener whipping it while mixing just makes a bunch of air bubbles you have to fill later

  • DIO BONO, i love you! ~<3

  • maskingu tapeuro!

  • i want his job...bad

  • I'm really curious as to what that green stuff is. It looks almost like it's some kind of plaster or something, but I'm not sure that it actually is.

  • @DrawnSteelHero It's polyester putty, it dries hard but is sandable and cutable.

  • @NeuesZiel what is that liquid drip in the poly mix in 1:30?

  • So cool never seen so much work put in.

  • i really wanna make this but it looks extremely difficult...

  • im reading all the comments, and see like 10+ questions about the greenish putty with repeated answers... lol.. if u really wanna know, read the comments first.

  • on 5:34 a scarface poster LOL

  • Thumbs up to you guys... ^__^

    You're awesome !!!

  • best vid by far

  • He must have been horny ass hell to make a doll that looks like that.

  • @AlcoholicSemenStain i get that like that when i airbrush paint my resin model kit figure Lol

  • what kind of material are they using to make that anime figure?

  • HE IS A KIND OF GOD!

  • @firbyfang you aren't kotobuya's chief designer for nothing

  • Did he mix the CA glue in the putty at 1:29?

  • @pitot1988 I'm thinking it was some sort of retardant to slow down the drying time of the putty.

  • hehe putty boobs OT this guy is realy good!

  • The equivlant to the green stuff is BONDO automotive putty. You can get it at any automotive store. Use a little less hardner for extended working time BUT you can't change the formula too far READ THE DIRECTIONS:):) to make a generic body sculpt one the hard way -wire armature measured precisely, covered in putty and cut up- and use a resin kit -available from several online dealers - to make a master mould- then voila- as many characters as your imagination/halucinations can create

  • @SWOLFOOI if your using bondo will it stick if you use a second layer or will it just come off easy like when he's doing the hair

  • Oh master, tell me your secret...

  • dat ass

    I MEAN

    dose skills.

  • Art-wise this is really good.

  • I wish they a kit were it supplies with all the stuff to make your very own custom toon like this. We atlease the basic body form supplies to get you started.

  • I am also curious about the green modeling putty. I'd like to look into it to use for my own model work.

  • what is the green modeling material?

  • *drill like thing

  • I know this is probably a stupid question. But what is that saw like thing he used to cut the sculpt into sections.

  • @Papercut285 it's a" hobby tool" or "multi-tool", basically a small handheld motor which lets you attach various different cutters/sanders/polishers etc. dremel make some of the better ones, but you can find cheaper ones anywhere from amazon to ebay. you can get flexible "pen" shafts too, which let you better control your cutting since it's a lot smaller to hold.

    hope that helps.

  • @KORNdog1986 thanks so much. I've been looking for something like that for a while now but i wasn't exactly sure where to start.

  • what about the mold sir? is it available in the market?

  • MASKINGU TAPU.

  • I bet he enjoyed modellinf her ass with his fingers XD

  • すでに大まかな顔が出来てる!! 巧い(*´д`*)=з

  • what is the name of the green materail...

    or the blue and orange?

    this work is amazing

  • @dmblade007 ROCK poly putty

  • oh thanks ^^

  • Hey all odd question, does anyone know what type of display turntable that as at 1:06 and 5:32 , I've been looking for a good quality one for a while now.

  • ama newbie...i wanna practice on some stuffs like these....wats dat green mixture called and where can i buy it?

  • @eyeball56 Polyester or polyurethane putty....Go Google it!

  • thanks mr. u totally rock! xD

  • Holy crap! another use for BONDO!!! Never thought of it.

  • did he coat the head with something before he made the hair? i wouldnt know another way to seperate two cured parts like that... does anyone know what it is?

  • nvm i suppose its vaseline

  • vaseline is a gelly like thing i think its resine of some sort i used to make sculptures with a transparent lyke resine and its very similar

  • mabe i wrote it a bit confusing but i actually meant on how he prevented two polyputtysections from glueing together but i tried vaseline and it worked fine (or liquid soap also works from what ive read) :) thank you tho

  • Looked like there was some wax paper there

  • plastic surgery at its best ;)

  • @SweTrekki i use the same material ,its called bondo ,when it hardens its like rock hard and rigid its the best material to make figures =)

  • some one could traduce this to english? or spanish.. jeje.

  • This work is amazing and very helpfull.

Please, could you tell me what is the green stuff used to make the scratchbuild ?

  • The green stuff is a polyester putty which hardens with a catalyst. So unlike airdrying putties, you can make giant globs and have it dry quickly whereas airdry putties will never dry beyond a certain thickness.

  • @UniTProductions do you know a website where i can buy this putty? and if i can translate how to use it, what NOT to do with it, (like do i need to work in a room with a huge fan in it?) and stuff like that? it is AMAZING!

  • Well, this type of filler isn't restricted to Japan for statue sculpting. I think it was formulated for car body repairs originally, though it's versatility makes it popular for many things.

The most well-known US brand is Bondo Automotive Filler which can be purchased at Automotive retailers and/or Home Depot/hardware stores.

Add a small amount of hardener and mix until the color is an even shade. Just make sure you wear gloves and a respirator while outside - unlike the guys in this video.

  • 水樹發現@@"

  • Mmmm, putty boobs :'D

  • i'm detectin' large quantities of win in this video

  • is it just me or does everyone in japan really good at stuff.

  • its just you. don't worry.

  • You can do it too, just play around and take your time!

  • There's something so poetic about this man creating something so beautiful with his bare hands. One really must judge another by their works. Where is this beauty coming from?

  • i am still wondering where he purchase the modeling thingy that helped him make the body parts.

  • it's probably a house tool... afterall, this is kotobukiya we're talking about.

  • Anyone know if he cut the metal wires of the rig? It looks like they aren't present when it was cut into pieces but it was when he put the green stuff on.

  • If you watch the first video of this series, you'll see that he takes metal wire and drill wires for joints so he can position the character to the drawing. Then he fills up in the empty wire space.

  • OMG, I'm just beginning with sculpey and my fig looks like a snowman.

What pro's. What is the green stuff and how long does it take to dry? or is it baked?

Looks totally awesome, whish I had skills

  • すごい!

    このシリーズで一番感心しました。

  • The heck...does the "Rock" putty not stick to the surface or was something applied first? I'm working on a scratch build figure but with Super Sculpey FIRM clay and wondering how to go about on the bangs over the face. Any tips?

  • he probably used a mold release on the surface of the head. A thin layer of vaseline should work well to keep poly-putty from adhearing to itself. SsFirm probably wont be hard enough to sculpt the bangs directly, but experimenting with an armature or baking and carving the ss might work. keeping the hair separate from the head until it is finished could be helpful as well.

  • He spent so much time on the boobs. XD

  • 瞬間接着剤→cyanoacrylate

  • It's superglue

  • when her face started to look like the picture my jow droped, that was amasing!

  • can anyone tell me what liquid drop he using to make the blue polyester putty dry faster??

  • it's the hardener that comes with the poly putty. If you buy poly putty, it will come with it. You are meant to mix in 1-2% of that hardener to your ply putty otherwise it won't become dry and become hard.

  • this is cool to watch i try to make a model kit figure and it not easy it hard to make one it like week or longer if you are a beginning i said just have fun i just enjoy ok

  • What?

  • Looks like it came right out of the picture.

  • this is really something different than the usual it's great
