which it doesn't came with the Button but still have the feature of OC genie 2.

I would suggest is just go to the BIOS menu and overclock it there :)

Hi! there's really two ways you can overclock it .

I have an MSI z68a-g43 (G3) which doesn't have a OC genie 2 button on Motherboard itself but it does have the feature of OC genie 2.

Which I assumed that you can do it better by going to the BIOS MENU :D

Hi! Hmmm base on what I saw about the video, he turned the computer off first before pressing the oc genie button so I'm assuming that you should do it too to turn it off.

But I would suggest you should better read the manual

@adamjamesroe The difference between locked and unlocked is the inability to mess with the multiplier for the most part. If you increase the Base Clock of the motherboard, everything, including the CPU would operate at higher frequencies, regardless of what it wants. The great thing about unlocked CPUs is they can be overclocked independently from the rest of the components without messing with base clocks.

Normally the OC Genie overclocks properly after pressing it once. It's assumed that it works the same way for the second version.
