call me crazy but...i think malcom x and mlk ideas are related to x-men. think about it, Mageto(Malcom x) idea was that mutuats(blacks) should domnate the humans. And Pros.X{MLK} belived that mutuats and humans should live in peace.

I can't believe that my own race could do so much bad stuff. I read a book on MLK and found out that firefighters would spray very powerful water hoses at children who did the freedom marches that is terrible. Martin Luther King thank you so much for being part of the freedom marches and speaking out because you never know if we still didnt respect other people's rights I could maybe be one of those people doing that bad stuff. how dense am I, I heard this song once on the radio years ago, and I never got the name of it, or the signifagance of it. Listening to it that one time had such an affect on me that now that I'm grown up with a kid of my own, I sing the song to him as a lulaby, Now that I know who and what it's about, I love it that much more

I love this song. I sing this to my kids too. They ask me sometimes to 'sing sleep' and I will one day tell them about MLK (a bit young to understand at the mo). I also love this album - it's the one that got me into U2.

Leaders do tend to have tempers. I can't think of any who haven't. They also tend to get things done. It's a package deal. They are anxious and want things to happen. I don't look down on someone who made mistakes. What MLK did for millions of African Americans amazes me. Nothing should take away from this or any other tribute to him. This has been one of my favorite songs for over twenty years.

I was a child but remember MLK. Dr. King would be proud. I'd say most of or half of his dreams did come true. Like Bono says "May your dreams be realized" I think he would be happy.
