I guess I'm just sensitive to stuff like this. and about the song. when I heard it the first time in the movie I wasnt listening all that much. it sounded happy so I thought something good would happen, But I watched the scene and I was freaked out about it. Then I went back to listen to the lyrics. It was that scene that really got me to wish I never saw it. plus I'm religious and things that resemble the rapture, but not in a good way, can be a hard blow to a guy like me.

I mean, in the original Japanese, the line was 'I'm disgusting', or something to that extent, and so inaccuracies arise.

Obviously the original is generally so much better but I'd rather watch dubbed DBZ for example cos I just got used to it, and all the girls voices for men freak me out.

Girly voices? My friend, Uzumaki Naruto's English voice was a woman. Yes, that was a woman. Hard to believe, I know, but it was.

To clear things up, in my last post I did't say that English was a bad language; au contraire, I find it to be the most delightful of all, and I aspire to fill the world with fiction of my own devising (I wanna be an author, 'cause I like English). I merely stated that English and anime did not mix well; in fact, they do not mix period. English<German w/ anime.

No no I knew that, it's voices that sound girly when they're supposed to be Goku or something that I found strange... Naruto is 12(?) and the voice doesn't sound girly so that's ok. I never thought you said English was a bad language, I am english and am studying English Literature so I agree with you :). I nearly always prefer subs to dubs but English tends to get the best dubs because well, America I suppose. (more fans/money/professional voice actors etc in US)
