Anyway, it is nice that although so many years ago Dark Angel was cancelled, here its many survival fans like me and all you still remember that amazing series. Possibly each one has his own interpretation about the characters but I recognise that its style will never can be remake. Dark Angel is ONE, and also MAX.

Alec is funny and he makes the show fun to watch because of the constant fighting with Max. This vid isn't about bringing them together or something anyway so I don't see your problem. It's about the friendship/disliking between them that is so funny in the Dark angel series.

Max and Alec have a very brother/sister love/hate relationship. Their witty banter is magnificent and there are scenes where you can tell they do care about each other... it's just not romantic. ;)

Maybe maybe, but actually Max as X-5 is better than Alec, do you remember their remarkable fight when Max kick his ass??, beside Alec is a clon of Ben, and he is a character that the series needed for contrasting with Logan, because Zack didn't apppear on the second season, only in one episode when they loses his memory forever.I don't hate Alec's character but sincerly I don't like him because of the reason I put in my last comment. Alec shows quite a few times that he's not completely ego- ie. Berrisford Agenda. Most of how he acts is a survival mechanism...

And you can't really say that Sam and Alec are Max and Ben's clones.... only fans call them that. They're TWINS. Thus the same age and one digit off. ;)

I think Max is kickass but I also think the only reason she was able to beat Alec in a fight is because he held back on her. If nothing else convinces you, it comes down to pure biological difference between genders - Alec is a guy, so he's naturally stronger than her, but if you add genetic superstrength to it, then even more so. He probably held back because he didn't want to hurt her, I think that would've come out if the show had continued.

I beg to differ - it's each individual's own perception at the end of the day, but I think the chemistry between Max and Alec (and Jensen and Jessica) was pretty blatant, so much so that even the crew commented on it, and the two as characters were really well suited for each other. I don't think the "brother/sister" argument counts just because Alec was Ben's twin, Max's relationship with each is completely different.
