thx for answeing.i am up to 25 max on my good days and i still cant do a one handed chinup.o well i will keep practicing i will get it one day. anyway peace out and good luck!
bigk high rep two arm chin-ups won't get you the strength you need to do a one arm chin-up. past 10-15 reps it will not improve your strength. if you're going to use bodyweight, you need to start doing one arm eccentrics. The idea is to slowly lower yourself through the full ROM. After a couple months practice, you'll be able to do it slowly, and then you'll start doing isometrics at the top, the middle, and finally near the bottom. Then you just keep doing isometrics till you pullup someday. :)
Im in the same position right now, i weigh about 150 lbs and i can do 3x3 of 70 lbs for my weighted chin up. Now my one arm negatives are much slower and controlled but before i pretty much fell through D:
There isn't that many folks out there that can do two pull-ups from a dead hang position using both of their arms, let alone one. As I remember I think there's only 1 in 250 that can do this! Well done.
You may be right mate - I thought that I once saw it written in a old army training book but it was many years ago! I've never seen it done before and I've been involved in strength training for years! Also, it was good to see that you have one of McRobert's training manuals - he's a great author and friend of mine and his methods of training are by far the most productive ever! Good luck.
I'd like to see a video of you doing parkour, with your shirt off, showing off all those muscles. That would help to inspire me =P
I'm a body builder / traceur in training, but I'm far from my goal, and some extra motivation would be great =P

I don't know, it varies depending on what condition I'm in. Sometimes I won't be able to do 15, sometimes I'll be able to do over 20.

I found one arm lowering too tough to start off with so I did so weighted and towel chin ups untill I built up the strength.

BJ one quality I like about you, is you achieve what you set out to do. Don't ever let that change dude.
