JD mowers are crap looked at them today, i am buying a Hustler sports with 48 inch cutting deck has the 20hp Kawasaki motor so much better, the JD never even had a fabricated deck had a stamped deck, unless you went up to $8000 or more you don't get a fabricated deck toro are garbage

@Farmer2492 Yeah the Hustler Brand make some nice machines, low center of gravity and powerful, I would like to see a larger motor on the model you are looking at, but that is my only input, as far as John Deere are concerned, I am not one to bash brands but there is a lot of John Deere hype and I find they dont offer anything to truly stand above the rest

If you are referring to the Z225 J/D EZ-Trak the quality isn't up to scratch.

All J/D's manufacturing is outsourced or made in china and the quality is pretty bad. I wouldn't buy a J/D, as these days they are basically re-badging medicore brands and just painting them green. I was recently in the Everride factory and saw them building J/deere Stand-ons for instance, in Australia we call J/D, O'Deere as they just keep getting worse!
