not really..yeah they get all happy for running for 170 yds. because that is when they have the ball and everyone on the defense is trying to tackle them. that is a lot of yards. just think of how much he actually runs when he doesn't have the ball. it is not counted for. so they run a lot too.

hey may run a lot without the ball, but i doubt it adds up to 6-7 miles. and also, the quarterback doesnt really do much running, as well as the six or so people protecting him. they just dig in their heels and try not to fall down. and those fifty yard hail mary's and all the other passsing and running ur guys do with hands, soccer its all feet. that requires a lot more coordination and control. not sayin ur guys dont run or they're not coordinated, just defending my sport
