I think these guys are way cool. I was getting buzzed before high school listening to the band back in '73. Remember skipping classes at college the day the plane went down. Haven't really followed the band since. Hearing these guys totally ripping on youtube makes me want to see them again.

I dont get any hint of delusions of grandeur with these guys. They are not douche bags by any stretch of the imagination. They are humble and talented musicians who totally appreciate the band members that came before them. If you listen close to the interview, they acknowledge that their forerunners are the ones in the Hall of Fame. They are honored to play under the banner of Lynyrd Skynyrd and are damn good at it.
Sadly I think these 2 doche bags have convinced themselves that they are Lynyrd Skynyrd. neither would be in RRHoF if it was not for the original member's didnt write the song's for the Tribute Band could play as they pretend to be the real deal. Playing Drums at the shoals for a wek dont make you a member of the band. I was on a web-site and the person listed all the original member's and neither of these scumbags made the list. There really not in the same catagory as the REAL Skynyrd Band
@Southernborn761 the bottom line is they still play sold out shows all over the world. if fans didn't want to see them, they simply wouldn't go. it tells me thier doing something right.

ONLY because Bob Burns was unable to play DUE TO THE FLU!!!! When you get big and learnit stuff you will understood me and figure out i was right all along. NO he was not there as a member of the band. he was there with coat tail rider johnny. yeah Ronnie took his lil brother and his friend to the studio. now there members? dahell

YOu don't even know thier names!)went to Robert & Lee high school with Ronnie, Gary & Alan in Jacksonville Florida & they all started the band together. Ricky didn't play drums either, he played guitar! He left the band early to join the band Blackfoot! When they regrouped, the rest of the band wanted Johnny as the fill in for Ronnie & the entire family supported him so STOP with the disrespect!

Go look at the Blackfoot Albums and see who is list as the song writer's on "ALL" there albums. When Jakson spires wrote all the Blackfoot songs except 1. It was writen by Shorty. Sleptrocks GrandFather. but he is listed as a co-writer on all. as the label knew it would look stupid. to have a frontman that cant write
