I downloaded a 3d tank model. The tire devided to many parts. when i rotate the tire it becomes vertical and doesn't rotates like a tank tire. IS THERE A WAY I CAN SOLVE THAT WITHOUT MOVING EACH PART OF THE TIRE? Thank you very much

you should make a tutorial about a cloud tunnel or cloud dome i need some sort of cloud for my next video and there is one tutorial but its with just pictures maybe you could under stand it if you do than you should make a video....

err... yes you can i did... sooo unless i were seeing things when i did it then maybe but using scripts and rigging a car in max i were able to control it in real time within the 3dsmax programme itself using the arrow keys on a keyboard making the car move forward backwards left and right thats a game to me as i did mess with it for a far while before getting bored. i did put in speech marks "simple games" .... i didnt say fps rpg racing or platformer... o and i dont smoke bad for your health

actually 3dsmax is capable of being a game engine "simple game's" its an animation and rendering engine which is pretty much what a game engine is you also have the ability to place commands using the script function of 3dsmax... learn 3dsmax script's and you can achieve what you were asking.

For example: the fire and smoke in this tutorial are hard to animate (physics) and can't easly be aplied to another object (localization support) .

@audayhussain2 3Ds Max is incapable of being a gaming engine. You're looking for something like Flash, C++, or some other kind of engine you can code and produce games in. I wouldn't know much about that, sorry.

Really? I Just did it ;) add particle age map to fire (in fumefx grid options for fire) and add smoke map for smoke, same location and mental ray will report errors again, but it will render it ;)

for some reason my 3ds max starts the simulation and at frame 11 an error message popped up, it gave me the option to save it and i saved it but it ended up closing does anyone know ehy the error occured?
