  • does anyone know bout the pianopart?

I´ve been looking on how to play it everywhere, but cant find...help please

  • I would in all honesty swear my first born child's soul(What?! It's not like I'm gonna sell mine, I'm using it!) to the devil to get my hands on the sheet music.

  • Wow. Dredg is just amazing.

  • wow......just great

  • easily the most impressive band ive ever seen live

  • you haven't seen muse or incubus yet, eh?^^

..but seriously dredg are really cool too. i'm looking forward to rock am ring. They will play there

  • i havent seen muse live, but ive seen videos... they were made to perform

  • Yeah, I've seen the live videos of muse playing as well.

You put it perfectly, they were made to perform.

I need to see them and Dredg live.

  • I keep hearing this from everyone, hardcore kids, metal heads, rockers. Im finally seeing them in May.

  • great!..

  • Nice music! ;)

  • Best clip at youtube, I promise you.

  • agreed

  • One of the few bands that doesn't actually sound bad live...

  • You've got to be kidding right? I can name you loads of bands/singers who sound great live.. For starters: Jimmy Eat World Lagwagon Rise Against Motion City Soundtrack John Butler Trio Iron & Wine Simon & Garfunkel Bloc Party Adele ... Just a couple out of the top of my head.
  • Of course the first statement is nonsense, but you really picked those bands as examples? Simon and Garfunkel. Get the fuck outta here, ya fag.

  • I´ll just laugh if you don´t mind :)

  • Tool Too

  • tool is amazing duh,,, dredg is amazing though, disagree with that and you might as well be jamming to nickelback and if they are your fav band... then there is no arguement... lmfao

  • Considering how short your list is against how many bands exist, let alone are famous, he does make a good point.

  • Amazing!

  • amazing bnad awesome nothing to say

dredg greatest band have i ever seen

  • I'd have to agree. Most awesome band ever.

  • i listen to dredg and feel relieved that at least one band is putting out good creative music with feeling now a days,

they do what they want instead of conforming to some idealist sound, it inspires me to right, maybe some other people will catch on and music will be saved, wishful thinking

  • have you never listened to a really good and creative band called Tool? or Between the Buried and Me?

  • yeah man both those bands are great but each dredg tool and btbam are all completly differant in style. it all depends on what you like

  • Jeez flemck1, you and those other "fans" should stop whining you selfish whores. Let Dredg do what they want, they have their own lives to attend to as well so if they haven't toured more of the US, too bad. if they didn't attend your show, too bad. If they are taking time on their new album, too bad, let them take more time. I can't wait for their next album either but stop whining about it.

  • uhm. you're an idiot, pretty much sums it up.

  • i am idiot? why? b/c i am tired of listening to albums? seeing a band live gives their music new meaning. i feel ripped off living on the east coast. i almost got to see them a few years ago but they decided to not to play the show i attended. i know they are about to release another album buts it being "delayed". i still listen to them occasionally. and to call me an idiot for wanting to see an incredible band play live just shows your ignorance and immaturity.

  • i guess this has all just flown over your head, which would explain why you are the *only* poster on this video with two big fat thumbs down. i won't bother explaining any further. enjoy.

  • Er... i live on the East Coast too and I never get a chance to see them. It's too bad cause they're awesome and sound great live. I don't see why flemck1 is an idiot because they wish they could see Dredg play live...

  • Actually I live in the UK and they have no intention of touring here. I'd have to travel to the states to see them. Although strong points.

  • if you want to hear them bad enough move to cali

  • yeah I guess everyone that wants to see a band that doesn't tour in their area often should in theory just snap their fingers and VOILA

  • dredg is on tour, so check out the dates...then u might see them...i just looked the tour dates up so i guess i'll see them in nov. hope you get to see them.

  • the very first concert I ever went to was deftones in NJ and dredg opened for them, and I was like wtf who the hell is that, and they were AMAZING. I went right home and stalked them out all over the internet and I have been listening every day since, I hope to see them again some time

  • I have unconditional love for dredg. I think their true fans feel similarly about the band.

  • this album is flawless

  • perfection.

  • 5!!

  • That's is truth to the ears

  • he has a very powerful voice

its not a little timid voice but rather a solid powerful one

  • Truly a great singer.

  • one of my favorites.

  • Great song!

  • şu mükemmel şarkıları türkiyede dinleyen yokmu :S:S

  • does any 1 know how to play this on piano? or where i can find some sheet music or somethin to learn this, or a video.

  • Yes, i would like to know as well, if somebody could post a link or something...

  • Im glad to say that I actually know them...they're pretty cool band. My dad's band went on tour with them once awhile back and played with them live. I think they're really good and hopefully my songs will be like theirs.

  • This song is from Catch without arms. One album that i still love after 2 years. If you dont have it go get it now! every song on it is great!

  • You are correct.

  • this band is not emo if you say that or think it your an idiot.

  • @slvrstnthb Totally agreed. If these guys were "emo", then they would not be conveying positivity. :) Dredg has no genre---they're a genre all their own, the genre of unique music. <3 <3

  • @TheShadowMystik It's true, they are genre-less, and I love them for it. I love their diversity, it shows how talented they really are as musicians.

  • fuckin great singer

  • How do you pronounce Dredg? :)

  • drh-edge

  • It rhymes with "hedge".

I can't wait to see these guys on the 24th =D

  • haha, gavin looks different in almost every video i find of these guys. amazing version of this song, alot different than on the album, really cool.

  • i love it...amazing music

  • Asolutely fantastic! Everytime I watch, I love it more!

  • Amazing voice, Amazing group.

  • wow, dredg you guys are awesome

  • Like they're ever going to read your comment.

  • Amazing voice!

  • love this song!

  • best Dredg song!!!! please, come to Mexico please!!!

  • lol you should just hop the border and catch them in mexico. ill pick you up at midnight next to the big cactus.

  • lol you should just hop the border and catch them in mexico. ill pick you up at midnight next to the big cactus

  • how come i never see a good live band on tv Dredg rocks

  • Sometimes the singer looks like Jim Morrison

  • haha thats awesome me and a friend were talking with him when they did taste of chaos and asked if he is tired of the comparison.

  • WHERE'S DREW??

  • dont think they needed him on this one...dino kidna did it all here

  • Comment removed

  • Great fkn band get u r ass to Iceland and play 4 us

  • dredg is amazing

  • i....love....dredg

  • need chords

  • man these guys are good live.. kick ass

  • this song is good.. but it does sound better when its on acoustic.

  • this is the best

  • Can someone tab this plz? (UltimateGuitar)

  • an amazing track, great

  • I just thought exactly the same!^^

  • anyone think gavin looks a little like jim morrison?

  • Hahaha My thoughts exactly!

  • Totally does. Gavin even looks good chubby.

  • awesome!!!!!!

  • i agree with jay. I dont know why so many people hate CWA but i think it goes just as well with their previous albums. It still has those themes and concepts from El Cielo and Leitmotif, plus it also has some great songs on it.

  • The beginning sounded a bit like Stare At The Sun (acoustic) by Thrice. o__O

  • it's an acoustic rendition of the original, which is a very original and incredible piece of music. i'm sure "stare at the sun" sounds like something by another shitty pop-emo-punk-hardcore band, as well.

  • incidentally, they use the same chord progressions up until the final chord in the phrase.

so uh, yeah. thanks for the brainless slandering of Thrice and an entire genre of music, douchebag.

  • you're right, no 2 songs ever use the same chord progressions.

  • nope.

I've seen it happen once in the last 1000 years of recorded music.

pretty amazing, really, that this is that one time.

but seriously, what? I'm not trying to say that they're the same song, I'm just saying that yes, they do sound similar, because they have the same chord progression. as much as you'd like to think that only Dredg can write good music, it's not the case.

  • now you're assuming, and when you do that you make an ASS of U not ME.

    stop chuggin the haterade.

  • "i'm sure "stare at the sun" sounds like something by another shitty pop-emo-punk-hardcore band, as well."

I guess I could be assuming, but I think when you say something outrightly, it's pretty natural for me to assume that you say what you mean.

but I'm sorry for reading what you say, I suppose.

  • you're the one who came out with the underhanded critique. i just wanted to make sure you knew your point was null.

  • we're both arguing the same point, here.

and uh even if we aren't I don't care enough to talk about it anymore

    I mean seriously

  • word.

  • hi5

  • lol @ "1000 years of RECORDED MUSIC"

  • recording equipment has been around for millenia, mang

but yeah you're right I should have picked a better word... I meant "recorded" in the way that we record history, not record audio

but yeah I am a fool either way hee hee

  • just because its an original song doesnt mean they cant use the same chords, its an acoustic anyway, most acoustics sound alike because they tend to use open chords, and you are likley to run into a few songs that sound alike because of the same chords used

  • Haha Jesus Christ I was just stating my opinion.

  • bah! dredg is all about the amazing guitar sounds, basslines and drumming. this isn't anything special!

  • saw them 3 days ago ... one of the greatest live bands i've ever seen!! ... blow me totally away ..

  • me mohe.!

  • anyone notice the beginning of this song the guitar sounded exactly the same as the beginning as trust by thrice?

  • Not even close, I just looked it up and I heard no similarities...

  • Unless of course you were talking about the dead noted strumming at the beginning which is nothing more than a coincidence I'm sure.

  • Yeah for like a half a second....problably cause the first chord is the same?!?

  • aww, the acoustic version doesnt have the same vocal progression as the album version. shame. Gavin has a mighty powerful voice.

  • dredg > everyone else

  • I got to know about Dredg thanks to a band called Ours, they were their supporting artist and i thought to myself "these guys must be fantastic if Ours are their supporting artist!" and I was right, they kick ass!! like we say in Spain: Son cojonudos!!

  • u might be right ...

  • reminds me of jertho tull - good stuff

  • Jethro TUll was in a different league man...

  • he said "reminds" , not ,"is like" , i can see enough resemblence to trigger someones memory.

  • If anyone knows Dredg, they'll know they have in no way sold out.

number one, their record company lets them do as they please, do some research into the signing on after the release of leit motif

number two- the conceptual basis of this album coincides with all their other releases.

so do some research before you start spouting sh*t man. just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a sell out move.

  • świetna piosenka

  • dresg is sick my gf told me about them and i ignored it and then last month i was like ill check em out...and now i love dredg. their awsome!

  • dude....ive never heard of this band till my friend told me about them and had me listen to them....holy f'ing sh!t!!!! they are amazing....their musicianship is great! and their lyrics are cool too

  • dredge > My Face

  • this is the most dumbed down song dredg has ever written... sellouts
