@YuriLordofchaos : The book was written for children, my sister read it for school in Grade 2. It is a sad tale, but one many children need to hear. It's about the fact that life can go on after tragedy, that one can get up and keep going after the death of a loved one. I agree, though, the content is presented beautifully in the film.
