When I turned on the TV to CNN Headline News after a friend I was chatting with on AOL said that a plane had hit the World Trade Center they were still on the story of Congressman Gary Condit's affair with the missing 23 year old Chandra Levy, who had been the lead story for what seemed weeks prior to this moment. After this, I don't think that I saw a mention of him in the news for the next year.

I was 11, in my sixth grade art class when someone told us. Of course, being 11 I had no idea where or what the WTC was. They wheeled a TV into my class and we watched the news report. At that time, I had no idea of the magnitude of this event. It's definitely one no one old enough to remember it will forget. I'm actually not looking forward to explaining this to my own children, just because of how devastating it was.

it was a earthquake and he ran to the window and saw this massive pile of smoke because my brothers floor was around level with the smoke from the North Tower and then when we saw the other fire ball my brother was trapped and couldn't escape because he was above the fire and he died in the collapse it was the day the angels cried and heaven got crowded!
