  • I think the Vintage is the best

  • is the epi better than the vintage?

  • @henrykoers12 it's in the eyes of the beholder. I settled on a V100 after trying out epiphones, the V100 felt very comfortable as well as making all the noises i liked, lol

  • which one is bigger ?

  • Comment removed

  • @PapaLesPaul Yes you are right. BTW I prefer the vintage ;) It´s a pretty damn good guitar

  • I got a vintage because it was half the price of an epi 2 years ago. Wilkinson designed hardware is ok but i believe the pups in the neck and bridge are the same. I have a gibson now and side by side the biild quality is like chalk and cheese especially the neck inlays. But for 200 quid the vintage is phenominal value and really hard to beat.

  • much prefer the epiphone, in my opinion.

  • please improve your taste in T-shirts

  • @azraaell Please improve your way of thinking.

  • @AddRien08 well, ur right, shirt dosen't make the man.. you dress just fine there man... in fact its perfect, theres no need to dress too fancy right? :)

  • @TheSynyster1996 You nailed that one perfectly!

  • @AddRien08 oh hell yeah! :D

  • @azraaell Please improve your input..... is that all you have? Fuckin' retard..... :/

  • Vintage is just the best guitar here....

  • TABS OF THE 1ST SOLO!!!!!

  • Vintage is better!

  • it would be awesome if the vintage had a shorter cut....its way too deep

  • @SammyBeniuga they have to be deeper than gibson or epiphone to avoid a copy right lawsuit thingy

  • @callumskater1 then....what can you tell about tokai les pauls, the cut is the same as gibson/epiphone

  • @ballesteros40 Play them both, that's the best way to find out!

  • I'm going to get the Epiphone because it's better that the Vintage and I don't like the shape of the vintage.

  • @NeilChhabda Mate they are the same shape.

  • @NeilChhabda The shape is exactly the same you idiot!

  • @MaxNathanielJames no, the horn is pointier xD

  • @NeilChhabda the shape is the same...

  • vintage win !!!

  • epiphone :D

  • i have both an epiphone les paul standard plus and a prs se singlecut. i like the playability and the balance and and buid quality on the prs. on the epi i love her sound. it realy sounds like a les paul :)

  • now that is an awesome improvisation

  • @FRAAAZAAA Thank you very much, blush...

  • @Guitarist2011FYI Only EPIPHONE can make 100% Les Paul Shape

  • I'm getting a Vintage V100 for christmas.

    Can't wait!

Damn it Jesus, why couldn't' you be born sooner?

  • he almost drops the AR250, thats where ibanez, on the floor

  • i think v100 is the best !!

  • I found a Vintage V100 Flamed Maple Cherry Burst and a Vintage V100GT

Im getting one for christmas, I don't know which one to get thou?

I really want the Gold Top, but I want humbuckers not P90.

  • Ibanez AR 250 is the best !

  • @YvanMartin Indeed the AR250 is the winner. No doubt. It's obvious.

  • This was a real surprise.

I was expecting the PRS SE to come out on top but the Vintage wins by a country mile! The cheapest one too if I'm not mistaken.

The Epiphone is awful and the Ibanez even worse.

    Just my opinion of course.

  • Vintage V100 rullz

  • EPIPHONE LP STANDARD PLUS a good guitar??

  • what is the best ?

  • dudes I played a vintage but it had very big electronic issues and the input was all messed now I play an epiphone les paul standard plus top and it's soooo much more clean and confortable I know they probably sound the same in this video but epi feels 10 times better than vintage and has got better hardware plus it will keep it's value over time better than vintage so go for epi!!!

  • @MrRockGod100 Depreciation is only an issue for people that don't love guitar.

  • @MrTjgale Yes Gibson Les Paul studio isn't the best guitar basicly you are paying for the brand!!!I believe that if you like to play guitar and want to buy a les paul or you can buy a Gibson Around 1500 euros or buy an Epiphone plus and change the pickups and some electronics!

  • @AddRien08 Do you think it's the better the Epiphone or the V100? Thank you!

  • prs is better than the epiphone, i used to have an epi, it was shite. play a prs now, miles better sound, playability, build and finish all round. only thing it misses which i would like is the dueal tone and volume controls, the prs only has single volume and tone.

  • I think that epiphone is overpriced.

  • I think that epiphone is overpriced.

  • If you want a les paul just try to collect money for a gibson definately worth the money and is a beast! Now if i had to choose one of the i will choose the PRS or the Epiphone!

  • yet no gibson

  • @Guitarist2011FYI Yes it is. It's a Double Cut Les Paul.

  • @AddRien08 what riff are you pplaying on the first lp

  • @FRAAAZAAA Everything I played was improvised.

  • epiphone les paul vs ibanez

  • Do you think a Vintage v100 Lemon Drop is better than Epiphone Les Paul standard?

  • @czesio1454 I haven't played on a Vintage V100 Lemon Drop, yet, so I can't compare them!

  • @czesio1454 Vintage v100 lemon drop is in hardware and electronics same as all the Vintage v100 series, the difference is the "relic" finish... and to your question, yes vintage v100 is better than epi les paul

  • @czesio1454

This is the same as Vintage v100 , just the pickups are diffrent.

  • So.....which one did the guy playing the guitars prefer?

  • @theshyguitarist "The guy" prefers the PRS.

  • @AddRien08

Oops...I guess "you" were the guy? ; )

Overall, I guess I'm wondering what made you pick the guitar you did and why....versus the ar250. The reason I'm asking is because I have an opportunity to pick up an ar250 for dirt cheap. Although I don't want the price to be the whole reason I get it.

  • @theshyguitarist The AR250 is a fair guitar for its price. It seems to have a better craftsmanship, overall. The pickups are the Hottest in test, they seem to add much compression and to alter the sound a bit. It doesn't sound as crisp as the PRS but it's certainly a very good option if you came across a bargain. If you are more of a metal guy, than, this is the best option. Yet, if you have the opportunity to test these guitars by yourself, you should do that...Good will...shopping!

  • This was a great comparison

I'm not saying anyone should think like me, you can think what you want, but

really to compare guitars, you have to be the one playing the guitars, not listening to someone on youtube

if you decide to buy a guitar based on the sound you hear on youtube, you'll probably be disappointed because you probably won't have the same amp or effects, and the sound changes when you hear it through a recording.

No offense to anyone who likes to poke around on youtube

  • Why did you choose the ar250 instead of an art series model? the ibanez ART series has active pickups.

  • @sndgarden I chose randomly the guitars, as far as I remeber this was the only Ibanez Les Paul shaped guitar in the store at that moment.

  • Great! Now how the hell do people get them? Order online or by phone?

  • prs wins by a mile

  • can you fit any tuning pegs to the vintage v100 or do they have to be a specific model? i'm asking because i don't think the plastic ones are going to be very reliable.

  • @JohnTheRipper2 The tuners are "standard" tulips. You can replace them with anything you want. I suggest locking tuners.

  • How much is the Vintage V100?

  • @trokeification About 300 euros in Europe.

  • if got the ibanez AR250 its ok got it for £300 preowned for PMT birmingham

  • vintage sounds great...which is the cheaper?

  • @96silentdeath Vintage is the cheapest.

  • 2:30 - Look at the doors :D

  • I have exactly the same vintage v100 and it is perfect!

    I highly recommend =)

  • Which guitar is heavier the vintage or the epiphone? And does it differ a lot or just a little?

  • @thegosu123 I'm not quite sure, but I think V100 was slightly heavier.

  • @thegosu123 I have tested the Vintage v100 and it feels, look and sounds good! buy it.. I can't because i need to play better before I buy one ^^ Or, buy a Ibanez rg350 their are awsome too!

  • @Zukatsr125 Ibanez RG350 is a very "soft"guitar in terms of sound. I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies.

  • 4. PRS

    3. Ibanez

    2. Epi

    1. Vintage!

Or maybe ibanez on 2nd place? Great sound but i love LP guitars, sorry.

  • ****Sounds great from all. How is the construction of the V100 compared to the Epi, PRS and Ibanez ? Hows the binding?****

  • @Bobby59 Vintage V100 is quite well built. The binding was flawless as I remember. In terms of craftmanship, I think the Ibanez and the Prs are on Top.

  • Got a V100 for christmas, and I am very impressed with the tone, even the the stock wilkinson pick-ups. After watching this video I was actually impressed with the PRS but the vintage is the cheapest and is still probably one of the best. It also seems like a nice solid build, so my advice is.. BUY VINTAGE!

  • PRS is the best guitare .....

  • Ibanez sounds pretty cool

  • Anything is better than epiphone. Period.

  • I have the vintage v100 and the sound is alright but the quality is pretty poor... Hoping to upgrade to an epi les paul custom

  • PRS SE SINGLECUT FTW!!

  • 02:29 - 02:33 lol robot

  • what`s wrong at 2:47,something with the frets?

  • @anic0l Nope, the action of the guitar was setup quite high so I kinda slipped my finger under the string.

  • @AddRien08 can you set up the action on the vintage without it fret buzzing? I'm in the market for an LP style guitar, and for the money, this seems the best.

  • @JohnTheRipper2 Hello there! Yes, the guitar I played wasn't setup right. It's a minor tweak. Anyway, if you plan to buy a guitar, go to a guitar store and try as many as possible. You will surely come across a well setup model. Good will....shopping!

  • vintage v100 is better than epiphone

  • @MrGoldenStrike Actually I own an Epiphone Les Paul Custom and I'm happy with it (I previously owned an Edwards Les Paul -made in japan - and a Gibson Les Paul Studio with burstbucker pickups). Vintage is a very good competitor and I find it to be quite a bargain. If you put on it some better hardware, there's a good chance to kick some ass. The Ibanez and the PRS are made in Korea.

  • @MrGoldenStrike This Epiphone is actually a chinese or koreean one. To me, the PRS sounds the best here.

  • @MrGoldenStrike

    Sir, you are fucking idiot.

  • vintage v100 is best... played all and i own vintage as a result or trying them all..i reccomend

  • THAT is stupid......

A guitar is for music like blues oder rock not for all.........

  • Im looking for a LP and currently have a Vintage V99 but the build quality of this is just awful. Terrific fret buzz, some dead frets and the plastic tuners have broken twice. I however quite like the sound. I am a Slash fan myself and looking for a Slash inspired tone but i am having trouble deciding between a Epiphone Std Plus or an upgrade to the V100. Any ideas? Whatever i buy im sticking a set of Alnico pro's in.

    Thanks,

    Andy

  • @101andytoll101 Just try to find a store and compare the two of them!

  • @101andytoll101 I have both the epiphone standard and the v100

and in my view I found that the v100 sounded more like Slashes signature tone.

The V100 is a very good guitar for its price and good enough to start gigging with on small stages (:

  • @multilegend93 Thanks :D Ive gigged my Vintage V99 around 8 times and it did well. The only problems i had was my volume knob falling off mid song :D I also took a bit off the paint on the headstock somehow.

  • you should have put in a gibson too.

  • what FX were you useing

  • The Ibanez doesnt have a LP sound I think... whatever... So what do you (everybody who has some knowledge about it) think about the Vintage V100? I mainly play Guns N Roses... What do You think, can it give me a good sound for it or not?

  • @balee94 you bet

  • Vintage wins

Succes!

  • @AddRien08 *are O tenta

  • Vintage standard or icon?

  • @ImKraush Price/sound= Vintage, Overall finish = Epiphone.

  • @AddRien08 yes but there are a vintage v100 standard, and a vintage v100 icon , wich is better?

  • @ImKraush I haven't played on an Icon series, yet. Just go play them by yourself, that's the best way to find out which is which.

  • If they were at the exact same price, would you choose the Vintage or the epiphone ?

  • @adam10603 Hello there, I'd probably choose Epiphone.

  • Hi, I've heard that some models of v100's have mini-humbuckers , one of them is vintage v100 cherry sunburst, do you know if other models (bb, it , lemon drop) have standard humbuckers??

  • I'm might get one of those Ibanez Ar250, are they a good guitars ? (I'm an average player)

  • @Mrhappybunnies Yes, they have good hardware. The pickups are hotter compared to those on the other guitars, the finish and setup are almost perfect. Yet, the sound is not so warm. Your choice...

  • and what do you think about the vintage v100?

  • @21es78 It's a very good guitar for its price. The hardware on V100 is of a lower quality compared to Epiphone. Its neck is thinner and sounds darker than the Epiphone. Those guys from the Vintage factory don't seem to have a proper Quality Control, I really struggled to play on that guitar because it had a very poor setup. Yet, Vintage is best seller in its price range. Best regards!

  • Cab: Marshall 1960A G12T-75.

Te asteptam cu un Zoom Q3 pornit :D

    Good job!

  • @achgofsns Mersi,Iustin! Am rectificat!

  • @AddRien08 Nicio problema!

  • hi

    very good and usefull video,

wich is the best les paul for you in every aspect?

    thank you very much

  • @21es78 Hello there! PRS SE seems the better for me!

  • Dupa tine care a sunat cel mai ok ?

  • @axelcc2 Dar după tine care a sunat cel mai ok?

  • @FiveseveNp90 :))

  • @axelcc2 Din pucntul meu de vedere, PRS SE.
