I think at the end with Rin's question (as Sesshoumaru's not prone to showing much emotion), he was really caught off-guard judging by his reaction... Possibly he'd forgotten that she was mortal and was reminded now? He doesn't want to talk about it, but Rin does want to know if she matters to Sesshoumaru... Aweh... Cute/sad vid... it provoked me to think about these two characters hehehe.

Does it really matter what kind of relationship they have? Seriously, it's an anime, it's open for interpritation. I personaly like both the father/daughter relationship AND SesshomaruxRin (when she's older of course).

Where does it indicate anywhere in the mang or show that she is his daughter, where does it indicate that their relationship is even like father/daughter, They share nothing more then the realationship of lord and ward, companion to companion,one day that might change to something more it might now but don't automatically assume a father daughter relationship just because rin is a little girl and sesshomaru looks older it's feudal japan things were different plus kaede ends up taking care of rin

Totally agree with you =) For me, I don't see Sesshomaru and Rin's relation as "father-daughter" thing. I see that Rin is a very valuable person that Sesshomaru deeply cares, protects and shows emotions. Just because of the age difference it doesn't mean it’s a "father-daughter" relationship. Sesshomaru is like Rin's guardian and she feels safe around him :)I bet when Rin is mature enough she will go again with Sesshomaru and their love will blossom.
