  • 150 vagon :)

  • ohaaaaa

  • Should have put that Corvair on the tracks and put it out of it's misery, would have made Ralph Nader happy LOL

  • awesome guy

  • I love CSX's horns

  • 142 cars. Fairly long train.

  • Good Video.

  • I didnt know BNSF pulls 500 car trains thats unheard, I mean how could they fit in a siding or something like that i have seen a NS freight pulling over 170 with a bout 6 C40-9ws but 500 cars. i mean shit thats lott

  • The lead engine is a GE ES44DC. Same HP output as a Dash-9 or an AC4400CW but with 12 cylinders as opposed to 16. Looks almost EXACTLY like an AC6000CW but with subtle differences to the long hood configuration. Biggest tell tale sign is the is listening to the horn. Kinda off tune, like someone blowing a trumpet with no musical background.

  • nice train video. Is that your corvair parked near the tracks?

  • Man what the f.. do you say?BNSF dont has AC6000 locos(!)

Where do you saw them!!!!Only Union Pacific and CSX have

    AC6000's!!

  • xmmmmmmmm

  • man you guys haven't seen anything

ive seen the BNSF in California and NM and they pull 250-500 car trains with 6 or 7 of these engines

  • when conrail ran in Rochester NY. These trains can have well over 500 cars.

  • 5343 in the wind.

    by the way,

How many trailers does he have on that one?!

  • frakk me im from london and i ve never seen anything like that.how powerful is that engine?frakk me

  • well i think its a AC6000, made by GE, produces about 6,000 horsepower, and max speed is limited more by the track speed limit than the loco, but id say about 80mph.

  • WTF? That was a GEVO/ES44DC and a AC4400CW. Both locomotives are 4,400 horsepower. The lead unit runs on DC traction and the second on AC. AC6000CW's are the 600-699 series, and the 5000-5016 series on CSX. Besides, a AC60 in YN3, that's VERY unheard of.

  • rated hp and hp at the wheels are two different things

  • Only CW60AC # 651 is in YN3

  • that was a stupid load

  • ok one engin 200 friets

  • what the hell?

im my country max cars are 15 or so O.0

  • Nice! Much longer than the freight trains we get here in NZ! :)

  • we got loads of long trains passing many times a day through our town at that length. Looks normal. (Saskatchewan, Canada)

  • the car is a chvey if im not wrong but im sure its a chevy

  • Italy's victory was so close though: if Zidane hadn't hit the Italian, France would almost certainly have won...

If you check out my profile you will see that my love for Germany is mainly the cars and the Wehrmacht. I feel ashamed that Italy dragged Germany down during the war...

  • Yes! Italy did beat Germany, but I love Germany so I would have loved a totaler Deutschland Seig: Is that how you say it lol? It would of shut the English up, thats for sure! But when Italy lifted the cup, for the first time in my life: You can imagine the shame at not being in Italy for the huge, nightlong street party! The one summer when I'm absent: and they win!

    Hurray, but Booooo!!!

  • And yes: the Mafia, called the Camorra in Naples, is a huge menace. It is not like the films: It is very dangerous and dodgy. You cannot even say the word on the streets... Last year, 37 innocent people (14 children) were killed in crossfire...

If you see a Maserati or S klasse, it is them...

  • Well, I am Italian, and I always visit my old uncle when I'm in Italy. He lives right above the Naples coastal railroute. I love watching the trains, but he tells me how the Mafia takes all the railway money, and leaves the railways in a mess. He told me German railways are very precise and strict, no nonsense, so I wondered whether your trains can safely be longer...

  • Thankyou, I understand now...

The German railfans should rally for the blocks to be increased to 3000m lol! But that would cause all sorts of problems...

  • I'm being a bit ignorant lol, but why must the train length not exceed the distance between signals?

    It's probably really obvious lol...

  • What about during the war? Were the military transport trains very long? With 2, 3 locos maybe?

  • Bummer! Has there ever been an exception to this rule though?

  • Would it be possible to run a huge train like this?

  • How many cars do the longest German freight trains have?

  • Does that old car never move lol? What is it?

  • make more of this dude its cool

  • its amazing that only two locos were needed to pull that, very hard to believe, wow

  • wow!!!

  • Why can't we have trains like this in the uk!!!? Small loading guage, years of political neglect etc. etc. ut it's getting better. Would love to see one of these for real - all pulled by 12 axels how does it do it!?

  • I'd laugh if all the containers/boxes were actually empty!

  • American horsepower!!

each of one of those GEs puts out about 6000 horsepower

  • You have us beaten in the passenger department with Sir Richard Branson and the fabulous Virgin trains (so I've heard). Amtrak here in the U.S. is an utter disgrace.

  • Imagine the time it takes for that to speed up or stop...

  • I'm guessing stopping shouldn't be the problem as each car has its own braking system??

  • That's what you'd think, but if the engineer put that train into emergency, it'd take on average 1/2 mile to stop or more, depending on speed and weight.

  • try 5 miles

  • it would take at least 5 miles to bring that train to a complete halt seeing as its doing about 70 mph with that load

  • 100 or more cars is not unusual here in upstate NY - I wait for them all the time!

I am surprized that people are surprized.

  • Oh my god?! Is this real?! Unbelievable! In my country i doubt this kind of a long train...

  • 137 seconds to pass the level crossing at about 50 mph makes about 2 miles length of train.

  • CSX GE-9-44CW Road No. 5343 with an intermodal load...

  • ES44DC, for your information, not C44-9W!!

  • Bring back the old B&O St.Louis mainline!

  • 141!?!? oh sweet

  • I counted 141 cars.

  • lol i counted 147

  • i found this hysterical...granted this was not an abnormally long train...though it was long...about a minute and a half in, i started lauging really hard...i don't know why...i think it was just that i was sitting there and thought...the end must be near...i see a bunch of empy cars so it has to be almost done...any day now...any day, but no...it just kept going and going and going and going (like the energizer bunny, only in train form)

  • I can not imagine how many cars consists of...

So usually freight train consists of 20 to 30 cars in my country...

    good video (^u^)b

  • thats nothing

BSNF in the US runs 300 car trains with 6 or 7 of these engines

  • Good video. Railfans, unite!

  • A really long train

  • I am offering money for railfan videos earn $5 to $40 just for recording trains, my website is www.alabamarailfan.com "requirments are or your $video$ is it your recording has to be still no shaking,no jokes, and in order to get money for it the lenght of your video has to be 8 to 10 min long, for more info visit my website. thanks
