as you see the car in the video it is stock standard except for pro-comp +4" shocks. the car loos very different now, it has 35" BFG M/T's and i have lowered the rear top shock mounts by 30mm. what a machine and it works so well. send me your email address and i'll send some pics of mine now.
@tuber23504 yeah man i will i put a set of terrafirma 5" pro comp shocks and parabolic shocks on them dont ask about my set up it fucked up but i works welll anyway put the parabolic springs on u wont regret it hope i helped regards bradly
Thanks for the reply, Gary. I've also done a bit to my disco. I use it for expeditions, so I have to have a high spring rate to carry the load. In hindsight I would install air helper springs for flexibility, but at the moment I've got OME shocks which I had extended by 90mm. Also OME coils on 30mm spacers - but the 763 heavy duties, on 30mm spacers. Suspension raised by approx 3". I've got spring retainers, and no anti-roll bars anymore. Oh yes, and a rear Air Locker.
Very simple its just procomp 9000 4" longer shocks front and rear. the cones supplied were about 10mm to short to hold springs so i made my own slightly longer ones. The car is raised approx 2" on longer springs. Body sits as normal on chassis. My rear trailing arms are hinged close to the chassis but quite frankly the articulation was the same before i changed them. No anti-roll bar either. I am going to put an air locker on rear soon just to finish her off!!!
Have you changed the hieght of the shocker mounts on the chassis? P.s. Terrafirma are a great shocker.
