I purchased my 2012 RZR 900xp on 11/05/2012 paid cash, and i am posting this on 11/24/11 i have not taken my RZR out to play yet. every time i walk pass it in the garage it looks at me and says "what's man when can we go out and play." my reply is soon. it still has .04 miles on the odometer. i am going to be so upset when Polaris comes out with the RZR XP 1000R in 2013 because i will want one and my wife said she will think about letting me buy one. I have started saving now for it. LOL
@mrgixxer1000R where did you read that they are coming out with a 1000cc version? In my opinion with 900 being an all new motor i dont see them doing a completely new engine that soon but i may be wrong but if you can get me a link that would be cool cause then i will hold off on gettin the 2012 rzr xp
This machine looks awesome except for that ugly front design. Waiting to see how well these perform with my rzr, which also runs an arctic cat 1000 motor and has been modified.
I researched and Tested both the RZR 900 and the Commander 1000 X and I bought the Can Am Commander 1000X. This thing is SOOOOO Cool. 73 mph to boot and the Fox Shocks and everything that came with it Plus some and I will Guarantee this thing is a monster Side by Side. I love it.
I just took one for a ride at the alberta unvailing and fuckin wow we were goin over 70 miles an hour on woops some bein 2' deep i thought we were goin to flip and were drove over it like it wasnt there lol killer machine
It will be a pile of sh*t just like the prowler 1000 I bought and thankfully got rid of, blown head gasket after 200 miles , weak tie rods and suspension , and axle slip out on every ride , almost rolled it twice at top speed . Never would I ever buy another Articrap again. Just a warning go with the rzr it's been proven.

I'm still a quad guy, I haven't went over to the dark side of the SxS world like so many people I ride with, but I'm still excited to see how these things run. Competition between makes is always good for the consumer, and I can't wait to see how Polaris and Can Am respond
@saucierllama06 Arctic Cat has not released HP specs. It has been throw out there around 95. After driving it my guess would be about high 80's but we were also riding at 5000 ft in elevation.

does anyone remember the 2003 cannondale moto. this was the arguably the baddest stock quad ever. i owned one and every other sport quad to compare it to also. well i will admit it was well ahead of its time but you could not keep it running so what good was it..
@bradmxdale Actually if your dealer places an order of 10 or more they should have at least one on there floor by November. Then if you do a pre order with a $500 deposit before November 30, 2011 your order will be filled first come first server starting in February. So the sooner you get your deposit in the sooner you will recieve yours.
95 to the wheels polaris better be happy with 2nd place because thats where it will remain. it weighs just over 100 pounds more but has alot more power. i bet Adam over at ///airdam cannot wait to get one of those in his shop.

And even if they have, when you're dealing with such close HP numbers as between the Commander, RZR, and this, what they say doesn't mean shit. To really see which has what, you gotta dyno them, differences in the drivetrain can cause more loss of power than others, or any other of the numerous variables.
