It's easier to just do one algorithm a bunch of times. For example U l' U l - if you do this 20 times, it turns solved again.. So just do it like 10 times, it seems scrambled, and woala you have it solved. Just randomly made this up, so there are probably more "effective" ones..

I will be the last to say that solving by algorithms isn't actually solving but scrambling by one algorithm and solving by one algorithm isn't solving a sufficiently randomized cube.

Here's how to really trick someone: post this in to cubetimer . com ( or any online timer): put this into the address bar ( of the timer) javascript:document.body.conte­ntEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0 and then you will be able to edit the scramble ( or anything else on the page! [ you can do it on any web page])
