I think with Corabi they should have not have not called the project Motley Crue in 1994 because many people obviously people associate Crue with Vince. However, as the popularity of the 94 record has grown this would have given the room to make other records with Corabi. Maybe they could work with Corabi again and not call it Crue. Who knows?

John’s vocals is a lot rougher & lacks the pop sensibilities that Vince’s voice has & so as a result John’s voice just didn’t fit in Vince era Crue songs - though he sings his own songs well. Crue should have replaced Vince with a similar singer, perhaps Stephen Pearcy (Ratt) or Marq Torien (BulletBoys). Similarly Vince had trouble adjustind to songs on the ‘Generation Swine’ album as they were originally written for John.
Don't diss on John Corabi. The guy obviously had a hard time singing Motley's previous songs like Dr.Feelgood because Neil's voice is of a higher range, but he's an awesome singer. Grunge? Fuck no he's bluesy and he sounded great. I'll admit Vince Neil's voice is better suited for the music but John Corabi did a good job for the situation he was thrown into with Motley.
And don't say Vince Neil is a rock god. If you have heard him in the past 15 years you've probably plugged your ears.
I dont think u can compere vince and corabi cause its 2 different eras for the band, ind i dont think corabi had done a good job singing for the original mötley, but in the same way vince would sound like crap on the corabi cd ;)

Motley Crue 1994 for some reason was a lot tougher sounding overall, when they played the classics it gave it an extra in your face attitude that it didn't have before...i would've loved an official Motley Crue 1994 Live Album, it would've been great...

Corabi is amazing and he played guitar while singing, which is not at all easy sometimes. Also, Vince may be the original singer, but he is not a hard working guy as it looks to me. Anyway, I like both, but Corabi is much much better, and Motley Crue treated him really bad, we, the fans, should be respectful
