The VtR LARP I'm in's great. I was worried I'd be the only girl, but there turned out to be quite a few of us. It's mostly political/social, so no fake weapons, but it's surprisingly thrilling. Our Circle coterie head got torpored for endangering the masq, but the Circle's pretty powerful so the Invictus Prince is probably going to be overthrown and executed for what seems an obvious frame-up but was possibly a clever manipulation by a rival in the Ordo. If anybody knows what I'm talking about.

I was torn between creeped out and amused the whole 11 minutes and 13 seconds of this video. I know most D&D players aren't like this, and it's sad that people still believe this stereotype. I play D&D and I love it. (I'm a girl.) I also play Magic, though not as often. I think more people should give D&D a chance instead of watching videos like this, which only feed the stereotypes. Well, to be frank, they do appear quite awesome. Especially the more verbose bloke. He could theoretically make a living writing books or acting, and if he's successful enough, he would certainly attract the attention of an ample amount of women, which many here believe to be the purpose of life.
