I love this series & it was this that when I was 13,sparked my interest in the 18th century.I like horse riding,harpsichord,18th century dancing,it truly was the age of elegance.
@Poldark3 Elegance?!?! Nobody bathed, most people lived in abject poverty, about 50% of children didn't survive childhood, diseases such as syphillis and smallpox were rampant and most people were ignorant and superstitious! That's not my vision of elegance!
One of the greatest TV shows EVER.. I've just uploaded I, CLADIUS which is the ONLY thing superior to this. Poldark is a great show, just a shame it only covers the first two books. I wish it had carried on.
