it´s a sign of the economic times. had the global recession not happened, you may have seen a v10 version of the rs5, but atm most companies are downsizing the engines and trying to place (at least public) focus on hybrid and electric technology.

all the while a company like audi still needs to maintain it´s share of sporty cars. one way of doing it is to use high revving "smaller" (as compared to v10's or v12's) engines.

What a wasteful load of shit this car is it's just a S5 imposter even though they're both Audi's. i watched a spy video about this car talking about it's stirring up with it's V10 but sadly it sounds more of a V8 under the hood. the S5 has a V8 though. so why would they fucking do this to the RS5. well anyways, i would smash this car to pieces. Audi sucks hairy balls and so does this shitty car.

No the RS5 is a rival for the M3 coupe.

The M6 is much more expensive. Audi doesn't have a rival becaus its a GT car. The R8 is in the same price range, but thats a true sports car that bmw doesnt have.

Yes the RS5 will be available with a 6spd manual as well as the 7 speed sequential auto with paddle shifters.

If i'm racing or daily driving I'll take a 7 speed duel clutch semi-auto gear box.

If I want a pure enthusiastic experience and drivers experiance, I'd take the manual.

RS5 is a very beautiful looking car. Can't wait to see one locally in person sometime soon here in the United States. =)
