  • I also don't understand what you are doing here. Is this just a grooming demo on the sidewalk, or are you selling these rabbits? I guess what I am asking is what are you doing with these rabbits in a parking lot?

  • @weedflemishgiants -- BWF was invited to be part of "Cry for Help." a benefit show for the endangered species of the world. It was presented at Thinkspace gallery in LA - the show with installations exhibits and pieces by more than 100 artists. The gallery hosted pet adoption that day and we were invited. One of the volunteers is a groomer, she groomed orphaned rabbits & she was captured by camera. You can check Vicki Anderholt's website....she LOVES buns and gives 1 hr grooming treats....

  • Having a problem with some of your fostered babies. If they are fostered as one lady did to her "pet" rabbit, then that "pet" rabbit is not spayed. Only rabbits that have been bred can nurse foster babies. So how do you manage to take the orphaned rabbits and foster them to nursing does, unless you are actually breeding the rabbits in the first place? Your "foster homes" are actually posting videos of your rescued bunnies nursing from their foster does. Please explain the contradiction.

  • @weedflemishgiants -- Out of 1053 rabbits we rescued, 4 were pregnant when we got them. 3 from a hoarder, 1 from North Animal Shelter. 2 already came with babies, other 2 gave a surprise within days of impound. Other rabbits that we rescued that were pregnant had abortion. So, NO, we don't breed rabbits in order to foster the young. All Santee Alley Rabbits are syringe fed by volunteers twice a day the cocoction of milk, acidophilus, antibiotics, colostrum.....and such. What contradiction??

  • Are all of these bunnies spayed or neutered? If not, you're continuing the overpopulation problem. How many were adopted out and are pregnant?!

  • @carriescritters - Why would we perpetuate the overpopulation problem if curbing it is the very reason why we exist?? We have never experienced pregnancy situation at bunny world since our inception. To us, breeding intentionally or by accident is the BIGGEST CRIME, that adds to continuous misery of all animals. Thank you for your concern but you better worrry about your rabbits at your pet store? or rabbitry? Carrie from Yelm, WA Pet Store that sells purebred puppies & other "pocket pets?"

  • SKILL!!!!!

  • i so badly want one i promise ill take care of it

  • True, bunnies do often get sore hocks. I cut the fur on their feet initially, because I am dealing with many sick + filthy bunnies that come through the shelter and the fur is often stained with urine and poop and I trim that away and treat the sores so they can heal. After that I sometimes trim to remove urine stain. Cutting a lot of fur is unnecessary ...you are right about that.

  • Thanks for this video. However, I'm wondering how beneficial it is to bunnis to have the feet hair clipped. Having rad so many times about rabbits with sore hocks, I'm concerned that removing some of the fur that cushions their hinc feet can be dangerous

  • awesome!
